Jude Bellingham Criticizes Media After Xabi Alonso Exit from Real Madrid

According to Kicker, Jude Bellingham has sharply criticized the media following Xabi Alonso’s exit as Real Madrid head coach, calling many of the recent reports inaccurate and misleading.

The English midfielder, who has been a key player for Real Madrid for the past three seasons, posted on his JB5 platform:
“I’ve let too much slide, always hoping the truth would come out in time, but honestly… these reports are far from reality. I really feel sorry for those who believe every word of these so-called ‘sources’.”

Bellingham’s comments come in response to media claims suggesting that he and some teammates allegedly doubted Alonso’s tactical ideas, and that tensions existed between the coach and certain stars, including Vinicius Jr., particularly after the recent Clasico. The 22-year-old stressed that these reports were misinformation circulated to generate clicks and controversy.

Tribute to Xabi Alonso

Alongside his post, Bellingham shared a photo of himself with Alonso smiling, captioning it:
“Thank you for everything, Mister.”
He also added on Instagram:
“It was a real pleasure working with you. Wishing you all the best for the future!”

Alonso leaves Real Madrid after just over six months, following underwhelming team performances and a Supercopa defeat to Barcelona. Former youth coach Álvaro Arbeloa, 39, has taken charge of the first team, echoing a model Real successfully used with Zinedine Zidane in 2016—though the two coaching situations are not entirely comparable.
